I am going yo buy a Koyao radiator for my ITR, but I have a few questions:

Whats the difference in the "Denso" Koyo and the "Showa" Koyo
Can I use the USDM OEM fan..
Will the OEM fan + Koyo radiator clear my JDM DC header
Which Radiator cap can I use
Can Some one please post pics if they have them

well i have a koyo radiator on my ITR. I'm not sure which one it is but I know I'm not using a stock fan and I have a Greddy radiator cap. The radiator clears my Hytech header just fine.

 

I have the Koyo on my GSR, IT'S HUGE! i had to hack the radiator fan, and the AC fan won't fit.
If you run the FAL fans the header will rub a little, but not bad.

Im running a koyo in my GS-R... the same size as stock, used the stock fans and cap. Ill find out what one it is tomorrow and post back (assuming you are looking for one that is stock size).

 

Same with me, Koyo aftermarket that fits exactly like stock with stock fans...

 

Denso = LS, RS, GS
Showa = GS-R and Hype R

Fan mounting points are different but I think mounting points to car are the same.

 

So the showa koyo is the one i need...Is it thicker than the stock radiator??? will it clear my headers (JDM DC) and resevoir tank??? or do i need a fal fan??

 

koyo doesnt make just one type of radiator for our integras.. are speaking of the bling bling 55mm all aluminum koyo?.. cuz they also make stock replacement radiators that look just like stock ones same size..

last year when my radiator decided to take a dump 2 days before the show.. we tried to fit the 55mm koyo on my gsr but we woulda had to bend some of the a/c lines and it was too close for comfort fit without slimmer fans.. so were ended up using the stock replacement one... if only we had more time to plan... that thing was sweet..

 

I have one and I am running the stock fan, upside down, rigged to fit.
