Accord 93 Engine Check Light comes
The engine check light comes out, and it takes longer time to ignite the engine first time. Then shut down the engine and soon after start it again, the ECL doesnot come out, and the time is shorter. what's the problem most probably? Is it very serious?
you will have to find out what that Check engine light (CEL) code is...
if you dont know how to read it.. simply drive it to a Autozone and ask them to check the code for you for free, after write down the code and do reasearch or you can ask a clerk to find out what it means... noone wil lknow how serious it can be unless you know the code..

The shop manual i have says there's a diagnostic mode jumper under the far passenger side dash. Short the blue jumper and put the car in "Run". The check engine light then blinks out any ECU codes that are stored. You'll have to look them up somewhere.... my local library has shop manuals for some cars, but it only cost me about 12 bucks at an auto parts store near me.
