integra died again... tryin to diagnose
alright so im drivin down 322 with my buddy and my lights (interior and headlights) are gettind dimmer and dimmer to a point where i cant even read my clock. we start goin up this hill and then i can feel my car struggling.. by this time the battery light has already flciked on (got the battery last summer, checked the other day, all cells are filled). continue up the hill and my car gets worse and worse, power decreases... check engine light comes on, feels like im running on 2 cylanders.
so i pull into this parkinglot when i reach the top of the hill and let my car sit for seriously like a minute and a half. turn on the headlights, interior lights, everything is fine. the car starts and as i continue to move, it gets worse and worse. i dont have a volts guage but i do have a stinger capacitor for my system and i heard the emergency chime go on when i drop below 8 volts which is suggesting to me its my alternator.....
so now my car is sitting at my aunts house untill i can find out what the hell the problem is and then fix it. what do you guys think?
thanks guys

try changing your alternator. maybe it's bad and it's not keeping the battery charged, and it's draining out your battery.
yeah im running a 1600W system with a 1.0 fd cap constantly so like im figuring theres a 99.9% chance its my alternator... i just dont wanna get a new alternator in and have the same problem
Yea dude, it's def the alternator. I had the same symptoms when mine went. Systems put alot of strain on alternators so they tend to not last as long.
