vtec not pulling
i was just wondering whats wrong with my vtec. WHen i first had it you could feel when vtec hit cause it would pull hard. Now when my car hits vtec you can hear it but you dont feel a pull. I have a act 6 puck clutch and people just tell me that the clutch is worn out and slipping when vtec hits. Is this true and will getting a new clutch fix the problem. Also is a act 6 puck clutch not a good clutch to drive on the street and should i just go with an oem type r.

I've got the exact same problem with my JDM B18c-R. Vtec engages normaly, and sounds exactly the same as before.....but that "jerky pull" feel from hitting VTEC isnt quite like before.
Like B2Finity said, I also think it's the timing. I only noticed the lack of Vtec "pull" after my engine was rebuilt and new CM stage 3 clutch was installed. The only thing I can think of is the timing was not set correctly
Hope this helped

I think j00 got it on the head.

or you actually learnt how to drive so that you dont feel "VETACK" engage anymore.. personally i dont really see the reason in starting from a dead stop and going from 1500rpm's to 9000rpm's.... if i want vtec i'm going to launch at 5200....... That was a bunch of useless rambling.. but i agree w/ the other guys, you got used to it and now its not so noticable... try driving for a couple days w/o getting on it at all.. then see if it feels like your car is fast again lol.
