Default Emissions

Well I just bought an 01' GSR with 31,xxx miles, i/h/e, and a hondata upgrade. I'm not sure which hondata upgrade he got though..he said it was just some chip. (Which from my understanding is the only thing you can get for the 01's?) The problem, i cant pick the car up till the 21st of July, and he lives farther north than I do and they have different emission laws where he lives. So im wondering if this chip upgrade would make my emissions bad? Any information on the 01 GSR hondata would help. Thanks

ide figure the hondata 200b? if it is then its bin switched over to a odb1 (ecu ecu from a 95 or earler car). if it only has intake/header/exhaust i dont think you will have any problem with emissions.

congrats on the choice of cars, you will find the people here are very very helpfull when you need info, and also check out team-integra.net lots of great wright ups.

did you get it for the price you told me?

Congrats.

Is it silver? If so, they are RARE, more rare than Type Rs.

No its white, yea i read the silver ones are RARE but i like white better anyway. Where I live these cars are extremely, and empahsis on extremely, hard to find. So I think i got a pretty good deal. Will be a sweet car for a high school junior I'm also applying to pimp my ride haha jk, I'll be paying this car of for a while, but I'll get myself a mod here and there
