I got a valve cover for my Honda Computer Im making and it was sandblasted and then used still bare metal in an engine for a while. There is oil and crap on it and I want to get it off. Im affraid to use stuff like Meguires Quick Detailer or Greased lightning becuase I dont want the moisture to make it rust. I have never done a valve cover before so does anyone know something that will take off the oil but not make it rust? Will it even rust with using a product like Quick Detailer or Greased Lightning?
