Default Honda 89 Accord Axle locknut

The Axle locknut wont budge on my 89 Accord. Is this a reverse thread. Nothing in the books and this nut isnt moving.

Do I go counterclockwise or clockwise to loosen the nut?

Definitely regular thread. Sometimes the area that is bent into the recessed area of the axle is holding pretty good. Try to chisel that all the way clear. Then, get a bigger breaker bar, or get a strong air gun.
