WTF is Happening with my S2000!
Man i went to the Dyno and my GayAS2k pulls 189 WHP with COmptech Drop In and Tanabe Exhaust!
Yesterday i raced a STOCK WRX with only 5psi More and he WASTED me like i was driving a ******* CIVIC....
My Car is new and it has right now 1,400 Miles....
whats going on with my S2000 i'll wait till 5k miles if the car doesnt run like it should i'm gonna Sell it and get a EVO 8.......

I agree with above. Ditch the exhaust, it is definitely making you lose power. Next step, practice practice practice your driving/shifting.

A stock wrx with 5 PSI more boost is not quite so stock.
A WRX or EVO with more HP or torque than an s2000? Of course that is why they have a TURBO.
Rather than simple bolt on header, exhaust etc for your s2000 you could turbo or supercharge the motor. That way you would be in the same class as the WRX or EVO.

Practice shifting?! Clutch in, select gear, clutch out. Never let your foot off the throttle. Damn, it takes really minimal skill to drive in a straight line on a motorway/highway/freeway and only a little more on a drag strip. If thats all you want to do, sell you're S now. From 30mph on, an S will beat a WRX, it'll beat an EVO 8 too as the EVO has 144whp/ton and the S 160whp/ton. An S will be faster in the dry, but the Evo/Wrx faster in the wet. Thas assuming your not on a motorway etc, and going around C-O-R-N-E-R-S! Otherwise The S should win all the time.

Not true. If you are a complete fucktard, then yeah, a WRX will beat you. But, from a roll or launch, I eat stock ones like they are sitting still.
I haven't raced too many though, so I don't know about modded ones. I raped an 04 WRX the other night actually.

As someone previously mentioned, 5 psi more is not stock. Thats a solid bump right there.
Not only that - but Ive roasted many WRX's in my stock S2k..little own my NA Integra (188.6 whp). Keep it up. Get a better exhaust, or go stock. And tune it.

It's not that simple. There are differen't ways to shift and you have to learn the fastest. AKA don't granny shift if you are trying to drag, push the clutch in enough to engage the next gear w/o grinding. An S will NOT beat an EVO 8 in the straits, it will beat a WRX but not a WRX STI. The STI and EVO will hand me my *** day after day in my S (0 - 60 in something like 4.7 seconds in either car and 1/4 mile in the low 13's).
Eri_S2K I think you shoud have put more thought into your mods. You should always do a benchmark run in you car (stock) to see what the RWHP is then you know whether you are going up or down with mods. You can't know where you're going without knowing where you are from the start.

i just think someone can't drive, but then again.. like everyone else said, 5psi over stock boost is a lot, doesn't the stock wrx run like 12psi or something close to it? well anyways..i smoke my friend in his wrx all the time and i'm stock while he's modded here and there.
