i was browsing on ebay when i came across this speedchip thing...it says that u just plug it in and u get 20HP instantly.....

has anybody done this to their car......any disadvantages of this product?

 

eh.. i dunno my friend has one in his prelude.. he says it makes him faster.. but i still hand him his ***.. so i dunno? i think its just a gimic or rip off

 

This 10-cent resistor plugs in your IAC sensor and tricks your car into thinking it needs to do more work (sucking in air and adding fuel I'm assuming). Besides giving you a check engine light, it doesnt work at all. Just an overpriced gimmick
