is the yellow and black wire off the resistor box a ground?
need to know if its a ground or something else...and if its something else... where is that located on the dx. thanks
ok i figured out that it goes to the main relay and then to a15 on the ecu.... but my problem is i have a obd1 motor that doesn't use the resistor box and a dx that doesn't have the resistor box... but the instructions for the harness say to disconnect the yellow and black wires from the resistor box and attach it to the second wires on the injectors...
sorry if that makes no sense

did i mention i need to know this asap! i am trying to get ready for niagra.. i think this is the only thing holding back from starting the car for the first time....
arrgh... heh
arrgh... heh
also if anyone knows where i need to connect the ICM and CKPM wires off the distributor that would be a huge help also...
ay0 i say connect those 4 wires by the dizzy like i told ya before.
somone help this guy out... needs to go to niagra!

it sounds like you are trying to convert a DPFI OBD0 motor to an MPFI OBD1 motor. there are two stages. first step is to convert DPFI to MPFI and then worry about converting to OBD1.
as part of the DPFI to MPFI wiring you have to add a resistor box. the resistor box has five wires going to it. One is a 12V power source and the other four go directly to the injectors (these four will all be the same color and the order is unimportant). The ecu actually grounds out the circuit to send a pulse to the injector.
follow the DPFI to MPFI directions, but where it tells you to add a resistor box, just solder all five wires together. Essentially you are just providing a 12V power supply to each of the injectors.
I believe that the yellow with black wire that you are referring to is in fact a power supply and not a ground.
hope this helps.
