Default Back fire

I have replaced plugs, wires and dist. with top of the line parts and am finding that when I am on the throttle, between shifts, the car will back fire from time to time.

Is this a timing issue? any thoughts?
Running a 1993 CIVIC EX 1.6 ltr.

Mine does it too, but only when I get off the throttle and stay in gear. I really dont think its a problem.
