What is the real PY? Look inside if confused
I always see PY ITR's but all of the yellows look different. Can someone tell me or post a pic of which one resembles closest to the real PY?
Not sure if I know how to post the pics..?

Well, for one thing you are trying to compare color but looking at them in differnt lighting conditions - that is going to cause some problems.
Second, each camera used is going to respond to the color a little differently.

That's what I mean. So do you think that they all could look like the three pictures at one time or another in different lighting? I just didn't know if it was because of the camera or the lighting.
First of all, I can’t respond because for all I know, my monitor etc isn’t displaying colors exactly true to the original photo.
I would describe Phoenix Yellow as a "true yellow". Think of the color "yellow" from that box of Crayola crayons when you were little. Or some of those toys for preschool kids, the kind that come in bright primary colors. It’s THAT kind of yellow.
On my screen, the first photo looks like it has a bit of an orange tinge that just isn’t right. The second photo looks okay except it’s in shadow so it doesn’t show well either. The third photo looks washed out and pale yellow. On my monitor, even Yoshi’s photo looks just a bit darker than the actual yellow of the car.

It depends on the camera, film vs digital and scanner (if used). Yellow is a difficult color for most digital cameras.
Here is my car stock (taken with APS film)

As a graphic designer I can tell you that it is a real bitch to reproduce colors found in the real world in the digital world and vice-versa (there is an entire industry devoted just to this).
No way we are going to get a "true" PY with our monitors, cameras, etc.

The photos of Yoshi's car in sunlight, and of Big Phat R's big phat rear end
, look pretty good to me.
If you want to see if it's the real PY, count how many bugs are on it in the photo. If you get tired of counting that high, it's the real PY.

I still think the 2000 color is lighter than the 2001. I was parked next to a 2k and I swear it was a different color(lighter) than mine, which is a 2k1
