The best place for info on the 3rd Gen Civic/1stGen CRX/1st Gen Integra (they are all basically the same car under the sheetmetal) is http://www.redpepperracing.com

This car has the mighty D15A3 FI 12 valve SOHC engine with 91hp stock. The 86-89 D16A1 from the Integra drops right in. A B series will also fit, with a set of expensive engine mounts from HASport.

Where???? I work in a parts store and there are some people that come in looking for some place to purchase upgrades. And Here in GA, I wouldn't pay that much. Hell I only paid $150 for my std. hatch w/ blown head ($100 fix) and torn seats. oh yeah, it was missing a corner light. LOL

Hell I've never see any 88-91 'upgrades' in a local parts store all 92+ ****.

The number of choices is smaller but the parts are still there.

That seems to be damn expensive if you ask me. Is their any rust on the car from the owners description of it. I would look around a little bit more. Especially if your going to yank that motor out and put something else in. I would rather save up money for a swap. But hell you might want to keep the stock motor in so, good luck.

Not for nothing, but how often are the parts you need for your car just hanging on the wall of an autoparts store. Can't wait to see the next APC 4th gen.
don't forget your low glo

belive me parts are more than available

i had a b16 in my 87 si. the car is good because they are light as sh*t. the suspension is a macpherson strut setup with torsion bars opposed to coilovers. theres a lot of aftermarket support support for suspension. they have a lot of autocross potential, also they have a lot of drag potential because of their weight. they are shorthanded in the exterior support department though. you can get zc hoods. and EDM corners. and they have a moderate amount of typical aftermarket parts. but mine wasn't clean it was shitty, but a clean one can be nice. requires more custom work and less bolt on. if you do decide to get it, i have the hasport b-series custom axleshafts i can sell to you, also i can provide you with a ton of help on wiring and other misc. stuff. ONE HUGE PLUS: THEY HAVE THE BEST FORUM. the people on redpepperracing are great and there are NEVER fights or stupid crap in there forums. honda-tech redpepperracing

Why strip the insides of the car the weight loss is so low that its not worth the loss in comfortant.
