Default this might be off topic but im in desperate need of help

okay im 18 years old........just graduated highschool........im in massachusetts on the north of boston.....i have been unable to locate any schools that have an auto mechanics program....can anyone suggest a place? to be a master mechanic is like my dream job...and if i cant find a place to learn this stuff i will have to find a desk job like the rest of the world.....so someone please help?

best person to talk to would be your guidence counselor....or google. most technical/vocational schools will have some sort of mechanics program. i dunno if you can get ASE certified or what not, but it would be a great place to start. pull out the phone book and start calling the admissions offices! basically all you can do.

thanks for the link......i have gone to the two local community colleges in my area...both of them just dropped their programs........which is an outrage in my opinion....but w/e....so i am stranded here....im am thinking of calling a dealership...just so they can laugh at me......idk........really frustrating....every community college on the north shore of massachusetts has their heads up their a$$es

Yeah, I know the feeling, I still have one more year of high school but I'm looking for a job at a shop. By the way, if anyone knows of any in the cali san jose bay area... Yeah, but you might want to find a place that does apprenticeships, I dont think dealerships do them anymore, but local shops might.

if ur interested in goin to a school where ur gonna learn a lot.. u might have to move outta ur area but i can tell u lincoln technical institute and i forget the name but uti i think univeral technical institute are some awesome major mechanical schools where if u do good ur almost garunteed a job outta them schools right away and supposedly they get like atleast 15-20 dollars to start i believe i 4get but i had presenters come to my school for them schools.. they supposed to be really good.. i believe lincoln tech is around the philadelphia PA area and i remember the guy tellin a story about there top tech that comes outta there gets like a starting pay of like 80k to work on lambos and ferraris and stuff like that
