Default CRX swap

I have just purchased a '90 CRX. I am gutting it to make an all out drag car. This is my first Honda, but I do have a '67 mustang and '02 WRX in the garage. I am not sure on where to begin. This car will never see a city street or pump gas. I need to know where I can find a built bottom end that will handle at LEAST 700 hp. I am going high boost and high nos, so it must be a low compression ratio. Even the 112 will get knock at the boost I'm hoping to run. A bored and stroked engine is a plus. Just remember that this needs to fit 'under' the hood of a CRX... or at least in the engine bay. Websites for parts and engine specs would be a great help if anyone knows any good ones. What parts are doing well and what parts are breaking. A freind of mine broke an eagle rod, but the Manley's are holding up. I'm looking for that kind of info. Thanks

I recomend going with an LS/VTEC or Built GSR either or will get you to your goal. Do some searching theres many posts on this forum that will
help you. First off you will need to locate a motor etc. You will need a bunch
of parts from http://www.hasport.com for mounting , wiring, etc. You will need a modified shift linkage and also a rear and side mount from a 90-93 integra.
For that much HP you will definatley need a sleaved block. Manley Rods are awesome esp paired up with some CP Pistons Good luck on your project.

Searching will answer alot of your questions.

I would take a look at http://www.payntechnologies.com. Maybe a custom dart block/head setup. Stroked, sleaved, blueprinted. Built right it will hold 700 or more for a drag car.

They have a built crate motor that has a 1 or 2 year gaurantee and produces around 270 to 280 hp (all motor) as an example of what they can do.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going with a B18 LS motor. Does anyone have a 4-speed that can bolt up to this? I'm looking for an electronically controlled automatic. Before the kids start, autos are ALWAYS faster than manuals. Its just a matter of tuning the shift points and the right torque converter. This is why I need the electronic shift, so that I can hook up the MSD shift point controller. What year is the earliest I can go for B18 and an electronic auto tranny? Thanks again in advance.
