what is the little notch on the bottom of the shock for exactly, will the pinch bolt not go through if its not lined up with it?
also, would it matter if i just buy a bolt and nut at the hardware store that would fit and just tighten it really well, cause i already stripped one of my pinchbolts?
i don't want to have to disassemble the springs and shocks just because its barely off on the alignment tab, i was thinking of just taking my stripped pinchbolt off and putting a new bolt and nut that was slightly smaller diameter so it would fit, but just wondering if its ok if the bolt does'nt really go across the alignment notch?
hope i described it good enough, any info would help
