HELP. CEL after swap
Okay, we started with a 91 HF. Swapped in a 92 d15 from a DX hatch. No CEL'before the swap.
Basically just changed the block and IM / throttle body. Kept the HF dizzy and injectors.
Stated getting a CEL (one flash) for oxygen? We kept the same o2 sensor with one wire and it LOOKS fine. CEL comes on after a few minutes sometimes and other times it won't come on till after an hour of driving. When the light comes on the motor runs rough.
Could this be a faulty o2 sensor?
The one thing different about the IM is on the passeenger side there is some kind of sensor with a white three wire plug and a vacuum hose. We plugged the vacuum line and left the plug undone.
Anyone have an idea what we need here?
Thanks for the help.

No, we used the DX block and head, intake manifold and throttle body. We kept the HF ECU and distributor. We also kept the HF injectors because the connectors were different for each motor. I believe they flow the same though.

Hi Brah,
The ECU does not try to fix the problem but goes into a "closed loop" default mode that stops constantly adjusting the air / fuel mixture. Instead it just stays at one setting.
By the way everyone, it is redfish's car. I was posting for him.

Looks like no help bro. I am suffering with the small wave pattern. I will be putting the clutch in the green car this weekend and proably drive it to Ca. for the surf trip. Latter
