Hey guys,
Know anyone that has EK pedals on their EFs? I wanna know how it is done. I know 1 person that has done it...but he moved to the other side of the world. So, some input and some pics would be great, if possible!
Thanx!

So these pedals are part of the whole assy right? My guess is unbolt the whole assyembly and switch 'em? If not you're welding

EK clutch pedal is hydro so good luck fabbing.</TD></TR></TABLE>
it is just the pedal assy, there HAS to be a way to bolt it on if it is just the pedals...if there is fabbing involved, Hasport has to have a way to avoid fabbing for their hydro conversion or cable conversion for EG/EK/DC

I don't understand.
As far as I know, people that do B-swaps to the EG/EK/DC chassis all use the hydro tranny. I don't know any of those people using an older cable type.
I know hasport offers the hydro kit for the 88~91's now, but it doesn't convert your car to a hydro system. Their conversion bolts onto the tranny and you still use your stock cable.
Anyway, you WANT the whole assembly. You are going to HAVE TO pull out your stock assembly. At that point you can see if the firewall mounting bracket is similar. If not, then you might try swapping the pedals, but take note to the bands in the pedal arms. If they don't bend similarly then you might have problems when you press teh pedals. The may sit too high or too low. Either way, that would suck. But, if they are similar then they just have to fit on the bracket properly. All you might have to fab up is some sort of adapter to hold the clutch cable. It shouldn't be hard to do.

Thanx for the info...but...oh yeah, Hasport makes a hydro to cable conversion for EG/EK/DC for the cable trannies that have closer gear ratios. But not as close as the 98 spec DC2 tranny

I see.
It's just some plate that bolts to the tranny to make it operate like a hydro one.
Very similar to the conversion for using a hydro tranny in one of our cars.
It doesn't affect the pedal assembly though so it doesn't really apply to making a solution for you.

I'm almost positive EG+ pedal assemblies don't bolt into EF's.
I tried to bolt a DC assembly into an EF at the junkyard and for some reason it didn't work or there was too much of a difference.
If memory serves me right, the brake and accelerator portion is the same, but the clutch portion is different. And if you've seen the assemblies out, it's all spot welded together.
