Default What tranny?
How do I know if I have an Si transmission or not? I recently bought this car with a motor and transmission that came out of another car. And I don't have a clue as to what transmission is in it. How can I tell? (The car is a 88 CRX Si) Any feedback is appreciated.

The only way is to tear it down. On 88's they all have white speedos

OR

drive 60mph in 5th gear. if it's an Si tranny you'll be @ almost exactly 3,000rpm's
