My first Dyno...
Stock Type-R with V-AFC:
I specifically asked the tech to tune the bottom to mid-range.
I'm happy with it... since my near 170hp peaked at 7800 rpm.

FYI.. by adding a 4-1 header w/ test pipe and milling my head 12 thousandths for 11:1 compression... I gained about 12 ft/lbs of torque solid.
I notice stock ITR's post weak torque numbers but niiice peak HP especially for a stock motor..

Does that spike at the end count as your peak power output. It looks like it's good for another 5 whp. Not a flame but that seems to be a dyno glitch.
I might be wrong.
Thanks,

The "Dyno glitch" you speak of was that everything past 7800 was omited.
The last few runs he leaned to achieve a higher peak, something like 173, however I was more concerned about low-mid range.

It's like a ham sandwich... How much ham would you like on your sandwich?
Just compare it to the distance between the two plots.
The left side is a wee bit meatier than the right side, but meaty none the less.
