Default 91 civic with a crx Front conversion?

Ive been thinking, would it be a bolt on affair, to convert my civic front to a crx front(Usdm)? Just change hood, lights, fenders and bumper? Or would you have to cut the fenders and weld them to the civic one?

Good luck that **** would take a lot of custom work.

I'd rather have a crx frontend on my civic... Gotta remember most EF civics have POS black unpainted bumpers and the civic Si bumber isn't very easy to find... And not all of us want a "bling bling" "big balla" JDM hammer-otuo-killer-fliparo front end.

I tried to put a crx Si frontend on my civic and the only part that didn't really "go together" was where the frontend meet the fenders on the side.

The frontend was "road worthy", but it was primered, so I took it back off..

Do a search. You'll see it doesn't look too good.

I would just get a classy front bumper for a civic if you think your front bumper looks so bad.

haters.... civic front is awful. CRX front is nice.
I did it for a friend of mine, just the bottom cap on the front quarter (wich EF doesn't have) doesnt fit nicely.

Just a matter of taste. EF front looks terribly outdated.

I like the copper colered car, but the silver-ish car has been taken a little too far..

Also the copper one needs a few more parts. #1 of course the corner lights, #2 the black side paneling.

I agree. I would almost say you would be better off with the integra conversion. LOL. But I think you should leave the Civic like a Civic. If you dont like the way it looks and want it to look like a CRX you could save money and buy a CRX. Integra cupholders are way different not a body mod.

What's up with the chin spoiler on this one? don't think I've ever seen one like that before. (on a CRX or Civic)
