Default Rota rims for S2k

Does Rota manufacture rims with the correct offset for our S2000s? If so, where can I look at/purchase them online? The company I bought from before is now out of business, so I've got no clue now.

http://www.machiii.net has some 16" rota slipstreams that at least fit.... they are not ideal offsets, but they work.

16*7 all around 5*114.3 bolt patter with 45mm (i think) offsets.

I have Rota Fronts for my race s2000 because they are a little lighter than the stock wheels, and a little fatter and they widen the stance just a little.

in the rear they are actually narrower than stock though, but lighter and the offsets move the wheels out to fill up fenders though.

I think they are $125 per wheel....so that isn't bad either.... plus you can sell them to an ITR owner if you don't like them.

The car will handle like **** if you make the front wider, and the back narrower.

not really..... you can still put a 235 or 245 rear tire on with a 205 in the front.... or use the stock tires......

the offsets actually move the rear wheels out about 14mm from stock (65-45+6).

i think the weight savings is about 3-4lbs per corner.....

I wouldn't use Rota's on a S2k. They are crappy wheels. I have seen alot of them just cracked. I would suggested you do more research about them before gettng them. My .02

I say go for it. Do what you want.

Rota doesn't make a wheel with the "correct" offset, but if you stay at a 16" size, you should be fine.

Everything Scot said makes sense and you can go that route. But, if you are looking to go up in size, then get some wheels with better offsets.

Check out the Shuk WR1 or something weird like that. It's a good looking, cheaper wheel that comes with the correct offsets for the S. They have them on tirerack.

Thanks for the input guys.

What's my off-set margin, anyway? Like how far can I go either way front and back and still be safe?

I thought about it since I had some black slipstreams on my accord. I'll probably go with some real spoon wheels instead.

Sorry for the big pic.

why not just powdercoat your wheels. cost me 160 @ spugen for all four wheels. not bad for rims under $200. plus its oem. you cant go wrong with that

I think I may go that route. Can Spugen do just the spokes and leave the lip polished? That's the look I'm going for. How do I go about getting ahold of them?

They cannot powder coat it like this unless it's a 3 piece wheel.

you can have the rims painted instead of powercoating them, so that you can have them with a polished lip

before powdercoating and andonizing, there was paint. There's not ghetto about it if done right.
