Default 89 Teg Brakes, on a 89 Hatch Si?

Okay, so I looked and looked and came up w/ nothing.
I have a 89 Teg, and was wondering if the rear disc setup would work on my Civ?? I'm guessing it will, but can only find **** on 90-93 tegs.

Will I need to change the the prop. valve?

Also, if anyone wants anything else off the car let me know, I'll sell/ship it.
Thanks,
troy

I don't think that will work.
You want 90-93 teg brakes for 89 hatch.
You need the teg prop valve.
89 teg brakes fit 3rd gen civics.

Hmm....I was told it would work---guess I wont know until I get under there. I know the front brakes take the same rotors----

If for some reason they didnt work, couldnt I just use the whole assembly and hub?
Thanks

The 86-89 Teg's have a solid rear axle, the Civic's have a trailing arm. I don't believe the brake assemblies will bolt up the same way. It might not be worth the time only to find that it won't work. 90-93 Teg trailing arms are direct bolt-on, then just get the prop. valve. Done.

Cool---thx for the info.
I just wanted to utilize the 89 teg I already had...that sucks.

What do the brakes fit then? 92-95?
And what do they go for?($$)

Anyone have access to 90-93 rear brakes, that wants to trade for 89 set up??

Thanx again, for the info.

the 89 teg brakes swap on to the older ( 87 and under ) CRXs. I thought I scored a cheap set about a year ago, ( $70 total !! ), but turns out it was a 88 teg...

Also, shipping for everything that is need to do the swap is gonna cost kinda a lot, since everything weighs so much. Getting it localy is going to be the best bet, even if it costs a little more vs inital internet prices.

I scored a set for 50bucks with rear sway bar. Then turned around an hour later and sold them for 225. Only 90-93 Integra Rear Disc brakes swap on 88-91 civic/crx's. Also another good brake upgrade is to get a 88-91 Civic EX 94door) Master Cylinder. It has a 15/16 cylinder while your stock one is 7/8. And as for your old integra serving help to your car just take the ecu out of the intgegra and put in your car. It has better fuel curves and a higher redline. Just my .02 worth
