My car is a 2000 honda accord LX v6. My car is actting funny when i go to drive or reverse is shifts kind of hard and it takes an extra couple of seconds to shift into that gear when i switch iti am at 60000 miles should i change my fluid or is it the problem with my tranny that honda extended the warenty for.

 

I suggest you have the dealer take a look at it. '98 through '01 Accords have been having ALOT of transmission problems. Honda has an extended warranty on certain models. Yours might be covered.

 

yea the 6th gen 2000+ honda accords have had their trans/engine etc warranties extended to 7yr/100,000. the transmissions are kind of crappy. if i don't relieve enough pressure off the gas when the car should be shifting, then it does feel like a person who can't drive stick is driving. there are always little lurches in automatic transmissions, but if it's getting to the point where you're really feeling the car jolt when it shifts.... take it to the dealer.
