HeadGasket
Well today sucked, Im guessing that my thermostat got stuck and my engine overheated and blew the headgasket. When I popped the hood I heard a high pressure hiss coming from the thermostat housing and I heard the water boiling. I let it cool a bit then through a towel on the rad. and took the cap off. The water was all brown and milky looking so Im guessing the headgasket is toast. Im pretty sure it will be a straight forward fix. What do you guys think!
Im thinkin I might, since I need to install my omnipower coilovers, I will completely drain the radiator or look for an integra one at a salvage yard, and clean the coolant system out and replace as many hoses as I can. Im also going to get the head resurfaced in case of any warpage and that should up the compression slightly helping me out. Great top of the weekend eh? Oh well at least my ride didnt get stolen
