EG, EK other such stuff
so i am new to this sport and i have seen everyone talking in what i like to call honda code. what is the meaning of EG, EK and the 'D17yr" (not sure if that is real) stuff. i have a 95 civic LX with 60K miles and just looking to get some more power out of it with out going nitrous or turbo, etc. Since i drive it every day for work about 200 miles i need to keep the MPG up in the 40's as it is now. I think i will do a cold air intake and a good quiet exhaust but dont know what to get. i also want to keep the interior/exterior mainly stock (I believe this is called a sleeper? assuming i mod it out some more)
anyway,
thanks all

EG or EH (US) are the chassis codes for all 92-95 civics
EK or EJ (US) are the chassis codes for 96-00 civics
