haha. no. EG and EK are commonly used to refer to 92-95 civics and 96-00 civics. in reality it is the first couple of letters on the vin number of japanese and european civics. but with the popularity of the phrases...people commonly use them when referring to u.s. civics...even though that isnt the code on our vin numbers.

the usdm 92-95 civics are actually EH, not EG.
