Pictures of RSX-S built with JDM and Integra TypeR parts!!
Here is the pictures of my friend RSX-S with a lot of JDM and Integra TypeR parts. First of all, it is not a REAL TypeR, my friend just used as many JDM and New Integra TypeR parts to build it and TRY to make it look as close as the New Integra TypeR as possible. This is only the first stage of the build up, more JDM and DC5-R parts will be added very soon.
Sorry for the quality of the pictures, it was raining in Vancouver today.
Here is a brief list of parts that on this car so far. Full DC5-R bodykit, wheel, and others. ARC front lip, Kakimoto GTZ01 light weight cat back exhaust, and some Spoon parts.

I must admitt, I'm not a fan of people who put Type R stuff (especially badges) on non-Type R cars...kinda gives us a bad image.....

I agree don't put the Type R stuff on there when it isn't a Type R. The stickers are all I don't like. The rest is cool.
The car is nice, but rice.
Will look better without those HP gain STICKER.
BTW did ur friend repaint the car?
I doubt there's white RSX in cdn.
Is that a black hood? or CF hood?

Why make it something it will never be?
Also, as I stated, the car is still on its early stages, a lot of go fast goodie will be add to it very soon. So it won't be a All Show NO Go rice car. All he tried to do is to make this RSX-S to look as close to the real TypeR as possible. That mean a TypeR engine swap and other JDM performance parts will be in soon too. And everyone that know something about Honda should know that there is NO new Integra TypeR that you can buy from the Acura dealer in North America yet, so I think the people should know better when they ask if it is a real TypeR or not.

Yes, the owner repainted the whole car and the hood is CF hood. Here is a picture of what the car looked like during repainting.

Here is what the owner of the car have to say on the TypeR sticker and other stuffs.
"First of all, I want to thank the ppl who gave props to my car.....
2ndly, sorry to have offended the ppl who think that the car is riced out with the badges and what not...
3rdly, unless there is another DC5 R running around, that was not me as the dealer trying to sell a car or claiming it is a real type-r
Car is not a REAL type-r to stress that again and never claim it was.... it is just a plain type-s in which a conversion was put together.
Like the CTR wannabe we put together 3 years ago, or should I say conversion... no one ever mentioned about the badges nor did anyone say anything about the few CTR conversions which has been done for the past few years about their badges... but why now on the DC5? We tried hard to make a conversion as close as possible to JDM spec and not trying to even say we imported the car from Japan. And yes, even the sunroof, we even considered about filling that hole up, but at the very end we did not... There are ppl here and there trying to do conversions to JDM spec such as ITR or not ITR putting on the front end conversions on their cars, should we call them wannabe's too because the car is not available in North America? So shouldn't some ppl be ripping out their front end conversion now if ppl are criticizing it? Or how about those ppl with Spoon stickers on their cars, should those ppl be called Spoon wannabees including myself with the Spoon stickers on the Riced out DC5? Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions here I guess... All in all, everyone who modifies their car has their own tastes and does whatever they want, but I really dont' think the badges are that big of a deal when the car is 90% JDM spec and more and more parts are still coming in to make it 99% complete, not 100%. Please though, don't ask why and laugh why there is one red recaro and the car is not lowered yet too, just that there hasnt' been the time to complete the car. Anyways, just voicing my own opinion, hopefully it did not offend anyone since we are all here just to discuss and make our cars look better whether it is JDM or Cali spec and or Rice spec. It seems like whatever happens in Vancouver here, there are always ppl fuming at each other whether something looks good or bad. Whatever it is, this is the first one around here whether one likes it or not and we did it our way.
Just my DC- .05 cents....

dude the car would look a million times better if you got rid of the "integra" badge and the "type-r" badge and the kakimoto sticker and the type-r stickers on the side.
leave the red H's......
leave the 17" type-r wheels
leave the type-r spoiler
just debadge it and it'll look 5x better.

So mafay2, what color was the car when it was purchased? Is this a group project or do you have just a butt load of money sittin around that you can afford to repaint a brand new car. I mean that is a lot of money to put into a car that is new. Not trying to be a smart ***, I like the way the car looks and appreciate what you are doing and the work that goes into it. I may not be to wild about the Type R stickers but, hey to each his own. Right? Anyway man, don't get to bent out of shape about what anyone says on this site, theh just like to be little bitches. hehehe
take it easy. Later

That's not my car, it is my friend's car. If you would like more information on it, I will ask him and find out more.
Aside from the stickers, false badging, and the fact that it's a lil too tall, nice.
I'd still take an integra over it.

Allow me to step in here forgive me if I sound like another ******* ITR owner BUT:
I think why a lot of people are giving you are hard time about this is because most Type R owners are "enthusiasts" and many are "purists". We waited patiently for weeks sometimes months for our cars to arrive at the dealerships and paid on average $3000 to $6000 more for the R than the GS-R for the right to wear the red emblems. But our cars are much more tha just a GSR with a sporty exterior and badging. Our cars are rare performance cars, and only for those who truely love Honda cars.
I don't equate putting JDM front ends and recaro seats with tacking on red emblem or the "Type R" decals, simply because because the latter is done soley to fool the general public into thinkng you own a true "R". Some people truely think that putting on badges and decals or even going as far as swapping out the motor makes their car an R. But I must say, if you truely believe that, then you do not understand the true concept of the Type R and why it came to be.
And as a JDM ITR owner and enthusiast, its kinda annoying to hear people boast of having a true "JDM Honda" when in facti ts something that they fabricated with JDM parts. JDM parts does not equal JDM car!
So yes, the car looks nice, but still very far fron the DC5 type R, and your friend will find out soon enough when the rear ones do come out. Because frome what I've seen so far at the Honda dealerships here, the Type S doesn't even come close to what the Type R can do. My 2 yen...use it wisely!
ps...if you wanna do it right...you've got to get the red Brembos

It's saccrilegious and considered blasphemy to put Type-R decals on anything other than a real Type R. (rice)
Hey there's this cool thing called image software. Paint shop pro, Photo shop, Image Station, Photo Deluxe, Lview, hell even ACDSee.
It's this little trick called "cropping."
Please look into it before your next post.
