Default clunk from rear

whenever i go over a bump i get a solid clunk sound from the rear of my car where the tires would be. it never made this sound at all. i have illuminas with GCs and a rear ITR sway bar with beaks kit. one of my friends suggested my struts were blown. would a blown strut produce a solid sounding thud/clunk? any opinions?

happened to me...it could be the spring from the coilover and/or your exhaust. check the hangers if you have mod. exhaust

It could be the shock going in and out. or possibly the car is too low so therfore the tire might be hitting the wheelwell and making a noise..

i just got home from a test drive and it has gotten worse. i noticed if i quickly snap the steering wheel left, it pops in the rear, and if i snap it back to the right, it pops again. kinda like a pop in and out sound. it also does it on some bumps. could it be bushings? it a pretty loud sound now so i dont know if a strut would make that loud of a sound.

check your sway bars clearence with your rear lca. I use to have the same problem with my srr lca's and comptech combo but now i raised my car up more and tiestraped a rubber hose that was cut down the middle and tied it to the sway bar so that it wouldnt make a clunk noise or hit the srr lca's. To check just see if theres any dent marks or scratchs on your sway bar or lcas.
