does it matter whether i use a z6 throttle body gasket for my ls throttle body onto a y8 mani?
does it? whether its ls or z6...the z6 seems to be a bit smaller but what the hey.

hold it up to the tb and see if it covers everything, because if it doesn't your car will have a vacuum leak and your car will idle like doodoo. Just get gasket maker for $5 and call it a day. You can cut it to how you need it.
