A safe NOS shot for B16
I have a B16 with fuel rail, regulator, headers, exhust, hi-flow cat, cam gears, CAI. I was thinking about getting a direct port nitrous system and I am wondering what size of a shot I should do with that setup. Any suggestions?

Yeah, post in the right forum. Run a 150 shot dry, and get two thanks, the big ones.
(Sorry, i know im new here too). Anyway, if you want to be safe run a 55 dry and call it a day. But it really depends on what you want to do with the car, how much you'll be spraying, yadda yadda...

You can run a 75 shot with direct port (IF it is installed right and tuned right). I would upgrade your fuel pump (and fuel system) and if you want, you can spray more.

with nothing else fuel related, 50 is the way to go, but if you have a way of keeping tabs on your engine, you can step it up. by tabs, i mean a wideband.

well you have a fuel rail.. thats really important(sarcasim)...
you can run a 75 shot without problems. Just get your setup tunned at a good shop.

I ran a 55 wet awhile back on stock timing, felt really good.. This was with my B18C1. I was gonna go up to 85 with timing pulled a few degrees.

I wouldn't run anything more than 50 without fuel system upgardes(fuel pump, injectors). The reason I say this is because if you go too lean you with too big a shot you will be in a world of hurt.
