IPSracing usually has good prices. Also I think Racer-X on this board also sells them for a good price.

is it worth shelling out more dough for a SPOON or Mugen Strut set (both front and back uppers)? in other words, are they stiffer than the OEM bars? i wanna get the JDM rear tower strut bar, but if the others are "stiffer" or have better qualities, i would rather spend the extra $ on a SPOON or Mugen set...to match of course! any insight into this?

The JDM bar should be on average about the same quality as both the Mugen and Spoon (although the Mugen looks to be a realllyy well engineered piece). Come to think about it, I think the JDM OEM bar costs a bit more than the Spoon one.

yeah, that's exactly what i was thinking...the mugen pieces look very well made. from what pics i've seen, the welds are very nice...as you said...it looks very well engineered. hmmm...the tough choices to make...

The Mugen is alot stiffer than the OEM ones. EPGonzalez can attest to this as he owns the entire Mugen catalog.

Sorry, OEM JDM bar is not even in the same league as Mugen bar. I have a Mugen piece and it's a work of art and VERY solid. The only downside for having Mugen rear piece is you have to cut your plastic trim (not the plastic cover over the shock towers).
