Default INtake manifold

Ok, so i just purchased and installed my AEBS intake manifold on my SiR II that has CTR cams, Header, intake, exhaust, an FPR, magnacore wires, and i am using a P72 ecu (GSR), and after i installed it my car seems to be slower, though AEBS claims 15-20HP from 3000-8000 RPMS over stock. Ne one have ne suggestions to why this may be?

you need to get a hondata, uberdata, or atleast a v-afc and get tuned

yeah, you can't just dump a bunch in your car and expect it to be fast. You have to find that perfect balance.

The IM does not add 15-20 hp. Do a search for it and you'll find a few ITR guys got this and dyno tested it. Few gains, although for the price it's not bad.

Also, why are you using a GSR ECU? I don't know all that much about how X ECU works with X engine, but doesn't seem to me like a P72 would be optimal for a B16 w/CTR cams...? Anyone know?

If I were you, my next mod would be a VAFC + dyno tuning at Ground Zero or someplace.

Agreed. An intake manifold will not give you a 15-20whp gains. I've heard of people getting those kind of gains on a turbo car with a good tune but haven't seen the dyno charts to prove it.

Yeah i wasnt expecting 15-20HP gains from it, i knew i wouldnt get those. But i was expecting some gains and definatley i wasnt expecting my car to be slower then it was before the intake mani.

Also i am using the P72 ecu, because when i did the swap i bought the engine without and ecu, and my buddy had the p72 that i am using now, just lying around so he sold it to me for a really good price which is why i am using a p72 ecu.
