so how do u check to see if u got spark? i heard u gotta put the sparkplug to a metal? so unscrew the spark plug, reconnect it to plug wires, put it near a metal and fire ur engine? if so i gotta have someone else to start the car right?

 

I just put a piece of metal in the spark plug wire, leave it on the engine and see if it bounces or makes a noise.

And yes you need someone else to start the car if you want to see if you have spark.

 

Or take the wire off the plug, put a screw driver down the end and then touch the screw driver shaft to your tower and have someone crank it.

Yeah sucks to have to have someone to crank it.. there is a work around for it on h-t but I wouldnt even attempt it.

 

pull the plug wire off put a random spark plug in it then touch the plug to a peice of metal while the car is running and it should spark like its in the cylinder

i got everythign u said except "tower". what tower (strut)?

youre making it harder that ithas to be!

pull the cap off the plug unscrew the sparkplug, put the plug back in the cap.

now ground the spark plug to a piece of metal. ie:strut tower. now get someone to crank the engine. look at your spark plug to see if it getting spark.

**just remember to ground the plug dont hold it up in the air while somebody is cranking it over. it hurts alot

 

Pull any 1 of the 4 spark plug wires out. Stick a screwdriver into the cap. Hold the metal rod of the screwdriver close to the metal surface of the valve covers spark plug hole and watch for spark.
