ok...i called tire rack today about some ssr competiton's 16'' and the guy said that they dont make 15'' or 16'' for the itr...now about two week's ago i went to the grand am finale in daytona, they had at least 5 itr's two from d-c sport's and of course the king motorsport's type-r...anyway's the king motorsport's car had 15'' ssr competition's on it!! he said they only come in 17'' or 18'' for the type-r..and the last thing i want is some 17's or 18's. anyone know if their is someone else that maybe has these wheel's in 16''?? if not ill just get some mf-10's...thank's

 

try calling again...maybe he didn't know wtf he was talking about...

 

yeah i pretty much told him a good two time's..and was real clear on what i wanted...your prolly right ill try again tommorow....but i thought tire rack was the primere people when it come's to rim and tire packages....thank's toda party

that's why im confused...it COULD be a mistake in listing wheels but Tirerack is pretty good with that kind of stuff..although i think they only sizes they offer are 15" and 17" i think..unless they've updated it recently

 

It's odd that they only import a few sizes of those wheels becaues on the SSR (Speed Star Racing) website I downloaded the spec list for this wheel and they've got several sizes 15, 16, and 17 that fit the ITR. I guess the Wheel shops just don't want to import them?

It might be worth approaching Tirerack or another wheel company to see if we could do a group buy on one of the sizes not currently carried here in the states. Just a thought.

 

thank's for all your help guy's!! i called tire rack again today and they said they do have them in 15''.and they weigh 11.2 lbs a piece!! damn...so now i cant decide if i want ssr's or some mf10's....once again thank's for the help guy's

Those are 4 lug, not 5 that the ITR needs. They look good though.
