Default my Si is being difficult.

it seems like it performs well 50 percent of the time, then just out of no where it starts acting a little sluggish. any one ever had this happen or have any ideas? I just dont know what i could be becasue it works fine sometimes. i ran without an intake for about week because the clamp broke and i had no idea, but i think that if that caused damage to my engine it would be a constant thing. please help

All the routine maint is a good place to start( Plugs, Fuel filter, wires, Distro, and a new air filter) of course you already knew that but I guess it doesn't hurt to say it. if that doesn't help, start troubleshooting from there.

This is what I would do.
First go get some new plugs and wires.
(NGK brk-7E-11 and some NGK blue wires)

Next, get some seafoam from Napa and divide that to your crankcase, gasoline and straight through your IM (maybe more to your IM since you had that open T-Body )
Drive it very hard right after and change your oil on the same day.

Finally I would reset the ECU by taking the negative terminal off for like 10mins and then putting it back on and letting her idle by herself for another 10-15mins. You could do the oil change during this time or even a coolant flush also if you want, but that has nothing to do with your problem.
