Default buzzing relay / obd1 injectors? Wiring problem possibly

My car ran mint. b18c obd1 88 crx si.

I put the obd1 injectors in, and now when i turn the key the relay buzzes like crazy. My ecu is not working and injectors are not spraying.

I took out the injector resistor box. Cut off the wires going into it and soldered them all together. That is right? Isnt it.

THe clips i just soldered on, does neg or pos matter in that case?

When i unplug the injector wiring harness plug, the relay stops buzzing and the ecu dies (check engine light goes off) its not a code, just a steady light. So im thinking its a injector wiring problem.

I want to wire my injectors direct to the Ecu, how is this done? I assum i go from the pins for injectors 1 2 etc, to the injector. But how do they get grounded if im going direct, can i just ground to chassis?

Do the injectors have any possible connection with the main relay, ive been having this problem for about 2 wks, after checking grounds etc. I decided to check what i last changed before it ran.

Thanks alot

Comments are apreshiated!

put your OBD0 injectors back in, add your resistor box, you can use the OBD0 ones with OBD1,

or try this....find the ground wire on the main relay....usually the black wire, run a wire from the body to the ground wire in the main relay....should work for you...
when you removed the resistor, you removed an important ground

I tried with the black wire, someone sugested that.

Thanks for trying to help.

In the fuel injector harness there is a blue/yellow wire that runs right though, it has 12V when the key is on. When i hook up this wire on the plug and nothing else the relay starts buzzing so this wire is the problem.

Im thinking its a ground as well, as soon as the realy gets its 12v from taht wire, it cant ground or ground is not good and it confuses it.

What is required for injectors to work? Any sensors i could test?

that yel/black wire attaches to your main relay, and to your
ECU pins A13 and A15......

you removed the resistor right, you soldered all the red/black wires together, and left the yel/black hanging.....well if it is 12V that is supplying the power to your injectors.

to answer your question, that yel/black wire is the connection from your ECU to your injectors...that yellow black needs to somehow be attached to the red wires that you cut and soldered....try that

It seems that your thinking about the yellow/black wire thats a ground. All the red wires were attached to that.

The wire im talkinga about is blue/yellow. And it goes right though the harness and dosent go to any injectors or the resistor box when it was there. And has 12V with the ignition on.

I dont know what that wire does, and when i hook up, just that wire in the injector harness plug the relay starts to buzz.

attach all the red/blk to the yel/blk.

yel/blk = 12v from ecu.
the ecu triggers the injectors by giving a ground to the other colour wires.

hopefully this pic will make it easier to understand

that blue and yellow wire goes to your EACV, and to A7 on the ECU

in the hybrid/engine tech forum @ homemadeturbo.com there are manuals for all the common civic/tegs/del sol's. get adobe reader and download the 60mb file and you're good to go.

btw.. car run now?

no, turns out that wasnt the problem

Other relays are acting weird in the car. Im thinking maybe i have a bad ground in the harness a flaky power source. Im going to check tonight.

I had an alarm in the car.

It came with the car but the alarm wasnt active, it came with a new remote.

So i tried to program the remote and the alarm got stuck in program mode and the LED was constantly on for the alarm.

No siruns went off or anything, im just curious if this was causing my problem. It was spliced into a big black wire comming out of the ignition. And hooked up to many other things.

I removed it. Im SO hoping this is the problem. Ill put the dash back in tommorow. And see if it starts.

I checked the injector wiring. Im getting 12V to the injectors but the ECU isnt closing the ground.

trust me...i had the same problem last month....buzzing main relay.......i had to get a new main relay, and add a ground wire........because....after i fixed it.....the relay would not stop buzzing...then i got a new one.....

main relay ground is good.

Im thinking its a burnt ecu. Pin A17 Is putting out 12V.
