car rolled down the drive way
it was raining and i was in a rush to get home and put my car in the garage. my mom was yelling at me , so i was in a hurry , and i went inside to get something and i came out to close the door. my car was gone. i looked across the street and it rolled into the neighbors driveay. i ran over in the rain , and got in started it up and drove it back up. my mom's van was in our driveway , so i checked it for scratches and damages. luckily there were none. i also checked my car and didnt find anything. i thought i at least left it in first. anyway i figured my garage is flat, guess not. im such a noob
anyone else have a story like this?

Yeah, did it once in a parking lot. Completely forgot the ebrake, and it didnt roll away fast enough for me to know when I got out. I was in the store for about 10 mins and a friend came in to tell me my car was in the middle of the lot.
Ahaha...a friend of mine had a 66 Nova II and he parked in his driveway kinda slanted and forgot to pull the e brake (the car had the "3 on the tree") and he got out and was on his porch when he looked back and it was rolling down. At this point he said it was too late to do anything but watch. He has a steep *** down slope and once it hit that, it was game over. Rolled straight into a telephone poll thats like right next to his driveway opening. It looked hideous. The cars exterior was all restored too prior to this accident.
makes me feel better that im not the only one
im very lucky there was no damage. it was pretty funny though that there was a car in my neighbors driveway parked good with it's lights on. any tips on remember the brake?

back about 10 years ago, i went to a honda dealer to get some parts for an oil change. after waiting about ten minutes, a guy came into the store and asked me if i owned a white crx. without question, i knew something was wrong. i ran outside to see that my car had rolled back. the parts dept was on somewhat of a hill, the damn car rolled onto the middle of the freakin highway. i paniced and ran like a champ hoping nobody was going to hit it. too funny, i bet its happened to everyone atleast once.
I did the same thing. I parked the car in the garage and went in the house. A little while later I notice cars going down the street are going way slow past my house. I looked out the window and here is my car sitting in the street almost blocking the whole street. I got lucky, missed a mailbox and a tree and ended up against the curb across the street.

lol all these are funny and i kinda have one like it too.
Before i got my CRX i had a Mustang and in the first week of driving my mustang i broke the cable for the parking brake so it didn't really work, just had to park it in first. Well i went to see a friend at some apartments and the only spot was on a pretty steep hill. Well as i got out i thought for a second "is this hill to steep to park it in first and not put the blocks behind the wheels?" well i didn't and when i came back my car was gone. It rolled....right through a chainlink fence.....right over a curb...and into a parking spot in the apartments across from my friends. It was funny though because first thought was "damn someone stole my car" but after we looked for like 20 minutes and saw the fence we knew.

someone let there toyota pickup roll right into the back of my hatch when i was working once. i made the guy give me 100$ on the spot. the damage was minamal.
I had a close one just the other day. I live in apartment complet with those covered parking stalls. My drivers side is right next to the pillars holding up the stall roof. One day I hopped in the car and I must have undid the brake and took it out of first without thinking about it, as I was about to crank the motor I noticed that my door was still open and my car was rolling backwards. I mashed the brake in time and prevented my door from being ripped off by the pillar.
