Default drum brakes VS disk brakes (weight dif)

Has anyone ever weighed the disk brakes from say a 91 crx si or from the 90-93 acura integra with comparsion to the their stock rear drums. I guess the best way to do it would be to weigh each trailing arm with the brakes and everything else on it. Just wondering if anyone has ever done it. Trying to decide if its worth doing the swap considering i have all the parts already. For a more balanced brake feel but not if the weight is to much. Yeah I'm a weight ***** but for a good reason.

How much research have you done on this ? I can swear reading some where that drums actually stop better then disc, it could of been in the auto cross section.

It really wasn't a final answer everyone had a different opionon on wether or not they are better then drums. For cooling yes but for other reasons are still not final. It will help out with brake balance also, but wether or not they are actually that much better is still not final.
