Shock difference between DC and EG?

Default Shock difference between DC and EG?

hello i would like to know if there is a difference between integra and civic rates in shocks as in do integra shocks handle more stress and pressure??? thank you

They are the same. The suspensions, as far as the dampers are concerned, is the same except that the Integra when getting pretty darned aggressive might see slightly more spring rate than the Civic. Make sure that the rebound damping is either adjustable (really functionally adjustable rather then just a number of clicks) or has sufficient valving to cover your spring rate needs.

i could have sworn that civic shocks and springs (stock) look more puny than stock integra shocks and springs.

its a civic. honda expected most civics to be commuter vehicles and integras to be more performance oriented.

The shock shaft diameter is 2mm smaller on ITR's and s2000's than most other hondas. Why? I have no idea.

i just bought new KYB gR2s and asked for integra shocks but they are the same part number at discount auto parts...but good thing its lifetime warranty......compared to the stupid performance shop i got them from who didnt wanna warranty them......i spoke to kyb and they replied saying warranty was at retailers level.............hoorayy for discount
