Ha, that title sounded horrible right? So why are you reading this? lol, anyways, I just did a tune - up and stuff on my car. I bought a fram filter, and 5 quarts of Royal Purple 10w30. The stuff makes my engine sound so nice, idles like new. Also bought some NGK plugs and wires ( blues 9mm I think), and got a DC Sports ceramic 4-2-1 header. Kind of a bitch to get in, but its in and it helped my mid power alot. Gonna pick up a cat and muff later this week and have my bro fab me the piping. And to top that all off, I just got a new job working at Chevron lol. Seems like things finally went my way. Ill get pics soon, peace. - Darrell

I hope you're keeping 1 quart in your trunk or using it for something else. Otherwise, what are your goals with the car?

lol, there was actually a post not to long ago. This kid wanted to change his own oil but didnt know how, he though he was getting low because when he popped off the oil cap there was only a small bit of oil on the rockers and such, so this kid being a moron, bought 4 liters of oil and dumped it in ( HE DID NOT DRAIN HIS OLD OIL )

Still all the oil went to the pan and didnt fill up the valve covers, GOES BACK TO AUTOZONE for another 4 liters. He said his buddy dumped almost 1/2 of the second jug in before his mother stopped him.

I dont know if this would cause damage or not, but I thought it was ******* funny thinking your valve covers needed to be full

actually i think when you do a full rebuild you need 4.7 quarts...but i know he isnt doing one. Just thought i would mention that incase anyone didnt know that. You only need 3.8 for a oil change.

They should make a dipstick to dip in the oil to check the level. Naaww cuz then everybody would have to figure out how to use it.

Wow, you guys actually thought I bought 5 quarts because I needed all of them? Actually, 3.8 was about right, but I would rather have more than enough than less, right? Yes, one is in the trunk and part of one in my garage. The point was that I did splurge and at 5.99 a quart, but I got hooked up on the other parts by Mike at HighEnd. The car runs great and I just blew the doors off a 92 Integra GS with I/H/E + piping and a skunk2 intake mani and a decent driver. I took him by a few cars, when before I would just about be even. Both cars full interiored and I was running 91 with a temp of like 71ºF. Anyone wanna throw out ideas on some next steps towards performance? I've already purchased a cat and I have someone to fab me my exhaust piping. But I heard there's a quite deep exhaust sold at Autozone or something thats cheap and decent. Money is somewhat an option, but I'm flexible with anything thats 100 and less. (Yes, I would probably only find something at this price used on ebay, which I'm fine with.) Any ideas? - Darrell
