All Honda motor have weak stock rods compared to any higher end performance cars, so lets not go there. Weak compared to what? I have no proof, I'll admit, but a knowledgable source told me the LS rods are good to about 325hp.

I dont know alot about turboing but why not the b20 from crv?? That would be my canidate. Has anyone ever done this? Good or bad exp?? More torque than the b18b?? so why not? ITs not even on your pole.

Yeah a c5 would be the best for turbo but that still is money. For the all out draggers lots of them run on wild cams only on the non-vtec lobe. Toda spec b's in a c5 on the non-vtec lobe w/ 20psi....

sorry to point u out like this... but all of that is incorrect... when a motor is rebuilt... the b18c1 and the c5 are esentially the same... everything is re-worked... as for my preferance and many other top racers... the c1 head is better...
and the cars run wild cams WITH the vtec lobe... the tricky part is which to use
spec b's on a itr without the vtec lobe makes no sence... actually in a built motor spec bs work well but there are still cams out there that will yield u more power... cant give away all the secrets now though

H series are torque monsters BUT that massive torque causes some mad traction problems. My choice would be the one that fits your intended usage and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

Seems that everyone likes the GSR motor. Good for me i have one. What are the limits of boost you can run on a fully stock b18c1? I have seen as much as 12 but then again i said safely!

i wouldn't boost anything over 9lbs on stock internals of a b18c...just my safe lil opinion.

ls rods are good for 450+/-hp. On the dyno I measured 363hp on stock rods.
