15x8 Rims on my 89 hatch dropped 3 inches??

im planning on going with 195-50 tires how bad wil they rub or how much will i haveto rasie my car

rub a dub dub. i'm running 15x6.5 with a 2" drop and i don't rub under normal driving but i do at autox.

You're gonna run 195's on an 8-inch wide wheel? You might want to rethink that..

yea, 195's on an 8"er is not only pointless, it's dangerous. talk about sidewall stretch...you're gonna have that "pillow" look so popular in euro VW's.
