for all those who have replaced fuel pumps *need help Now*
The electrical line that run to the fuel pump how in gods name do i get if off of the circular metal peice (that bolts to the top of the fuel tank) its like a clip on both sides...

If I'm thinking about the same connector, you need to unplug it from inside the car. Under the rear seats there should be a circular panel that is held down with 3 Phillips screws. Undo the screws and the connector will be easily accessible. I hope this is the same plug you are talking about.

yeah im thinkin thats what the dude is talkin about.. maybe describe it a little better? i changed my pump by myself with a jack and two stands...man was it a bitch..

ok well where the positive line comes from the pump. it is attatched to the metal cover, and the the line is attatched on both sides, i now know it doenst come off, but mine is broke on top, exposing the positive connecter, do you think it will be arlight?
sorry i cant really explain it all to well, but you guys are thinking of the sender unit, im talking about the fuel pump cover.
