Need Help Quick! PLEASE! To anybody who has a racing radiator!
Wassup ya'll, I just finished installing my PWR civic sized (I need the space for my future turbo kit) radiator in my 94 RS with an auto tranny. I guess there is no difference in the auto and manual radiators, at least that's what the guy told me at Full-Race. Anyways I have two hoses that run from the tranny to the stock radiator, there is no place on the PWR radiator to put those hoses. I heard that it was to keep my tranny cool but the guy at Full-Race said that I didn't need them and most people either connect those two hoses together or they block them off. I am kind of worried about that, I am also worried that since I can't put my stock fan on it that my car will overheat. Does anybody have any experiences with these radiators especially with an auto tranny. I will try and post pics asap but I don't have a good camera right now. Please help!
those lines are your automatic transmission lines and they connect to the radiatior so the radiator will cool the fluid. Why would you get a civic radiator for an integra anyway. If you are going turbo you are not going to have enough cooling capacity. If you have a lead foot you will definitely need the tranny lines hooked up to cool the fluid or fry your tranny. He gave you the wrong radiator. Also you will definetly overheat without a radiator fan, absolutely essential. Do not block off or loop the tranny lines together. If you hack your car you end up with a hack car.

Alot of people use Civic sized radiators actually for very good kits they require you use a Civic sized radiator because the manifold and turbo will hit if you do not. Also a fan is not required when you upgrade to a racing 2.5in thick all aluminum radiator because of the greater cooling capacity. He did not send me the wrong radiator there is no difference between the auto and manual radiators. Please only people who have actually have a Fluidyne, Koyo, PWR, C&R radiators and have even a little knowledge of turbo kits please reply.
