Yet another injector question : I've found a company in the UK who can make the 440cc injectors that I need for my ITR. However they first need to know the base settings for the injectors - they've asked me to find out:

Size and flow rate
Type of mounting, ie top or side
Resistance

Can anyone help? If I can get the information today, I can get them ordered and be one BIG step closer to getting my car back on the road!

Not much help here but how much are they charging you? Why not just get some cheap used 450 DSMs < £40 for set of 4?

 

They're gonna charge me the equivalent of $110 each

The problem is I'm in the UK so have limited options. I can buy from the US but need to get hold of these injectors quickly as I've got a big show coming up that I want the car to be ready for. Also shipping to the UK will be expensive, plus customs taxes etc.

If I buy used injectors, which I'd still have to source from the US, I'd have to get them ultra-sonically cleaned which would cost me $180, otherwise I risk one of them breaking down and killing my engine.

How much would you guys pay for a set of RC 440cc's ?

Thanks Have decided to order from the US after all, you guys know what you're on about and I don't want to risk getting the wrong thing from the UK and paying double for it!
