the sohc in my ef ran a 15.6 stock... so there not bad.. and you can boost hella on stock internals... my friend knows this guy that boosts 12 lbs on stock internals daily driven.. but yea they are kinda hard to find parts for....

parts are going to be as easy to find as any d16z6, the only part that is more agressive that i know of is the cam shaft. so go for it im happy with the motor

ERRRRR wrong answer
NO domed pistons on the SOHC ZC VTEC
it's the same engine as USDM D16Z6 internally

i have the sohc zc....went 15.6 also....the motor only cost me like $250...but i think now they go for around $350. the zc and the d16a6 are the same except for the more agressive cam on the zc...u can take any part off of a a6....so its not expensive....go to the junkyard, and get ur parts...if u buy new parts of course there going to be a bit more expensive....im using the 89 crx si tranny with the zc...works like a charm.
