Default Re: ZC motors? (mrod1985)

There's a few different ZC's.

Sohc Non V-Tec 1.6L is pretty well a d16a6 (stock ef si motor) with a little more aggressive cam in it. Not a bad little motor and easy to build consider mostly all d16a6 parts will work on it.

There's a dohc 1.6L that is pretty well the d16a6 block so to say with a dohc head and I beleive a little higher compress.

And finally the sohc 1.6L v-tec, which if I remember has higher compression.

These are all "jdm" motors and the correct ecu's for them tend to bring out there fully potential unless you plan on doing a tune of some sort.

Hope this helps out any PM me if you have anymore questions. I've got a bunch of sites that are very zc informative on my other computer that I can send ya.
