about to buy a new timing belt, any recommendations to what brand.
about to change timing belt on my 90 Civic Si with a 94 gsr in it. I was thinking an OEM belt but would a autozone or kragen one work the same.?
i wouldnt use any other belt than genuine honda because thats a high reving motor and its not a freewheeling engine if a cheap aftermarket belt breaks u r screwed and all your hard work on your swap down the drain. but if money is an issue go with carquest replace the water pump while you are at it and check to see if the crank seal isnt leaking.
