Default Door Latch Retaining Screws Loose - '94 Accord EX

94 Honda Accord EX - Front Passenger Side Door

Door latch retaining screws suddenly are loose
Door does not always open from inside attempt.
Door will always open from outside attempt.

Any suggestion on the problem and exactly how to fix?

I wish it were that simple. Is there some sort of piece behind the metal of the door that might be broken?

There shouldnt be a spacer or anything like that, is that what you mean

I'll check it out again. Maybe I have stripped screws or a stripped latch assembly

I took everything apart and it looks like one of the holes where the retaining screws goes is broken. I need a new latch. Arrrggg!!!! Anyone know how much they normally cost?
